Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Wow, never knew that. I just assumed it was some kind of foreign plate - there's plenty of people here who've brought their cars from as far away as Russia, Uruguay, Turkey, etc - makes my drive down from England seem like nothing!

My understanding is that it comes with car insurance. They are called Zoll plates.

Horses for courses,

here are his requirements:

equally fast as his r8 which was unsociable
needs to be an estate for the dog
needs to be four wheel drive to tow boats & trailers
can't be a Q7 because he already has one

what would you choose?

;)

You're cousin sounds awesome. :D

Hey cousin, do you want to go bowling? ;)

Had an interesting rental car for a mini US road trip. 2014/2015 Camaro SS. 6.2 V8. ~16 US MPG, felt reasonably rapid even coming from an RS6. HUD was fantastic and probably the best feature. A quick Google suggests these are about $42,000 which has to be a bargain.

Ausfuhrkennzeichen - export plates.
You pay the insurance (3rd party) and however long you pay, that's the date on the plates. I paid £150 for 3 months of insurance.
It's based on the power output of the car.
As of 2011, you have to pay German road tax as well.
Chances are BMW sorted this for the owner if it was a factory pick-up.

It is a 5 day temporary or export plate, the red section says the day, month and year of expiry.
Temporary plates have got the yellow band and they are valid for up to 5 days.
Only German residents can get them though.

If that is a 22b, replica more likely, then whoever owns needs shot for leaving it there. Can't even describe that as parking.
its look like a replica to me there is no way you would change the rims on a 22b, it would de value it soooooooo much. they are so nice stock as well
