Have a moan about life...

I don't own the road my house lives on, but when I have 9 cars for people working at the local hospital park there I wish I did so I could do horrible things to the paintwork.

Parking is a nightmare, I have a large front garden so the plan is to build a driveway. Until then I am forced to relearn how to reverse park.

Found out that my dad has parkinsons and my mum needs heart surgery. Got told about these last weekend. The thing that gets me down, is that I am the last person they have told. My brother knew weeks ago.

I'm sick of being skint all the time.

I'm as careful as I can be with finances, don't go out for expensive meals, don't get takeaways, don't buy the latest tech, don't really spend on anything other than essentials.

I'm on a relatively decent wage, so I should be fine, but it seems like every single time I manage to get things sorted out, get my finances on track, and have a couple of hundred saved up, something else comes up, wipes it all out and leaves me in the red again :(

ITT: First world problems.

ITT: people who live in the first world.

& yearly insurance

back to being skint again....

The amount of people that park infront of my drive winds me up no end. We have a school right next to our house and every single morning without fail there is someone parked infront of my drive and 50% of the time they have left the car! Luckily work is walking distance but if it wasn't I would be late every day.

Used to have this problem, mostly with dumb **** mums in their stupid 4x4s.

Went and banged on their windows and raged at them a few times, seemed to solve it for a bit.

One time a taxi pulled up as I was reversing out, so I got out, mad as hell, and went and gave him a piece of my mind. Oh my the look on the mother and kids faces in the back of the taxi :p felt a bit bad about that

Well done!

You are in a better position than you were in when you had £0.

You would be much more depressed if you had £0, right?

Thats good!

Statistically the fact you CAN put money away at all and not living in your overdraft put you miles ahead!

Plus, you have the mentality to save what you can, most just give up and live forever poor in credit.

I guess I can be proud of myself for never having a credit card, but this is the first time in years some random debt hasnt come out of nowhere

I'm annoyed because I'll have to waste two hours in a meeting about safety shortly. Which would be fine, but I work in an office - not the inside of the nuclear reactor.

Dad just lost his job :(

He was working in abu dhabi had a nice job and flat and doing well, he left it all for a job back in uk. After 2 months they said its not working out. Apparently the business is not doing well and they want him to come in and do miracles in unrealistic time frame.

Now he has to look for another job he is 60 almost.

My wife doesn't like my family. :(

Its funny, this was my biggest fear.. or that our families wouldn't get on. It turns out my girlfriend likes my family a little too much and I rather wish she'd take my side occasionally.

Oh well.
