New tv needed

My much loved Sony D3000 tv from 2007 and I need a replacement. I am looking at a 40tv. I don't care for 3d or smart tv. Just after a good 2d picture. With 4k around the corner I don't want to spend 1000's. would I go wrong with either of the following:

SAMSUNG UE40H6400 449
SAMSUNG UE40H6670 499
