As title, my Mrs has an iphone 5S with a 2gb a month EE plan, I warned her this was no where near enough when she was getting it but ignored me, I knew full well with time data use would increase. Obviously now shes running out of data 18-20 days into the month and is annoyed at this.

Whats the chances of EE upping the data (£37 a month contract), to say 3-4gb ?

Anyone had good experiences with this ?

As long as you're prepared to pay for it they'll up it. Be warned the price increase may well be quite sharp if their normal 4G pricing is anything to go by.

I'd drop one of their social media teams a message and see what they say, I've used them to modify my contract before and they're a bit less infuriating than dealing with a call centre.

I recently took out a new contract with O2 which came with 1GB, then used their online chat got it raised to 5GB for just £3 a month more :)

The 28 quid one ? ive just been accepted for that but feel like vomiting over the amount of data ill recieve (1gb) im used to unlimited but the deal was fantastic

Yeah the £28 one with a free Note 4 :) The data upgrade costs £5 a month, so £33 in total, but a few of us have managed to get a £2 a month discount (shows as a loyalty discount on my account), so its now only £31 (plus £27.27 cashback from TopCashBack)

i dun goofed, was so excited to get in and apply for the xcontract that i forgot all about the cashback, oh well. also, 5 quid is still okay, id expect to pay 40 quid month for the note 4 so spot on.

lol, I once forgot to do cashback on a sim only deal and missed out on £96! Still have nightmares now :p

Still an amazing deal really, even at £33 a month for unlimited mins, texts, 5GB of 4G data and a free handset worth £629

@ Combat squirrel, let us know how you get on, will help others looking in the future I'm sure :)
