Just got home to my iPad Air 2, don't have much time to play with it but it feels very light and it is really thin. Will get time to play with it tonight have the concert.

So annoying, ordered within 5 mins of the pre orders going live and it's still not despatched!

Received my Air 2 64GB this morning. Feels a shade lighter than my Air 32GB, not really noticing much difference with the anti-reflective finish. Screen looks about the same to me. TouchID is nice, but not really critical on the iPad. Air 2 does feel a little quicker. I was really hoping the 2GB RAM would improve the feel of Safari, but still slow in places. OCUK loading in blocks at times. Guess I'll have to wait for a IOS update.

My 64GB (Space Grey) has been dispatched along with my Smart Case ordered on Sunday afternoon. It should be delivered tomorrow.

Had a bit of a play with it, its a really solid tablet, very light, thin, extreme fast. I went with Silver colour wise as I've always owned black devices, but the space grey is like 5% darker then the silver so I was like why not.

My wife is loving the Air 2, when I get to the UK I will have to explain to her that the old rev 2 ipad is hers and the new one is mine, what's the worst that can happen?

Interesting the iFixit teardown shows the same NFC chip as the 6/6+? Perhaps Apple Pay support (and more importantly for Apple, merchant POS support) will eventually come?

So just to check; if choosing between an iPad Air 1 (refurb) or Air 2, would it be wiser to go Air 1?

Same RAM, samish screen, camera meh, non essential Touch ID.... therefore the only real difference is the 50% faster CPU but a higher pixel density screen should knock that down to 10% speed bump?

Apparently its got 2Gb of ram instead of the 1Gb of the ipad Air 1 and the pixel density is the same i think but maybe wrong on that one

Well I was looking forward to getting my new iPad Air 2 from New York next week, but it turns out that it won't have an international warranty, so if there were any problems with it, I'd have to take it back there in person :(.
