My mrs works for M&S. She says that you need to be careful giving these codes out as they are meant for friends and family. I don't think posting them on a forum is really within the spirit of the scheme.

M&S would have to be pretty naive to think that non unique codes won't end up on the net in this day and age. I suspect they mustn't really care or they would use unique codes.

We're all his friends via the forum so it is legitimate use. It's not our fault he has tens of thousands of friends If they cared then there would be a limit on the number of times the code can be used.
