would you rather work 4x10hr days or 5x8hr days?

Depends on the work. Manual labour 4*10 office work I'd prefer 5*8.

Depends on a lot of things. If I had a short commute then 4 days. And I'd take Wednesday off.

I do 60 hours minimum at the moment, skidder has his own firm so I imagine he is doing more.

The 4 day week would be my choice though.

Skidded has a point I happily beat those hours in a week.

Used to do more than double that working in night clubs before as well.

I often work 10 hrs a day anyway (should be 7.5), so I'd happily pick 4x10

I've been working 3x 12hr20min shifts per week for the last 5 years, I'd really hate to switch to 4 or 5 days.

3 days off could give the potential for 3 nights on the drink... best just stick to friday/saturday on the pop i think.

5 days and one of those working from home seems like the perfect mix. I WFH on Mondays and this has improved my life quality massively because it feels like a long weekend every week.

Glad to see many companies realising this is the way forwards for professionals that aren't serving the general public.

I'm part way between the two, 4x9hr days plus 4 hours on a Friday, works well as I can spend Friday afternoon getting errands and stuff out off the way then I can properly relax at the weekend

Got some holiday to use up though so I've only got 2 more Fridays to work this year
