I want a folder that says "Games" and all the short-cuts in there just like I could have on PS3.....

The feature also allows you to play co-op local only games online as far as I know which is cool

How on earth does this share play thing work? If the person you want to share play with doesn't have the game installed, then presumably the required game information is temporarily downloaded? Either that or it steams footage of the game running on the host console. Both are kind of problematic. Either way seems like a gimmick to me.

I'm just glad I can finally get rid of that dull blue background. Sick of the sight of it tbh lol.

Pretty sure it's streamed as recording, screenshots and streaming to twitch etc is disabled when using shareplay iirc.

The same way remote play works - you're connected to the other console and playing on it as if you were in the same room.

It'll have a lot of potential for indie multiplayer games

Due to my house having 3 floors I like to have 2 consoles - 1 on bottom, 1 on top with a PC in the middle.
This update is 1 step closer to another PS4 being able to replace my PS3 as the 2nd console. Still a few more features I'll need though before I can retire the PS3 but it's a start.
Suppose the good thing is for me that I just get more value out of the PS3 before it gets disconnected as once that happens it's almost certain to never get used again.

The addition of playing music is a vital inclusion for me. I like music more than I like games but currently have to swap Optical leads and HDMI leads to change the music so removes a little annoyance.

Not interested in all the other stuff - themes are pointless IMO as I don't sit there with the background on. If the console is turned on it's being used 10 seconds later anyway

what upcoming game are people picking up next then? im torn between GTA5, which i've already completed on ps3.. or farcry4, i hated the second with a passion, and never played the third. Which one should i pick up?

unless there's anything better coming out in the next couple of months that i've missed?

Sucks how you have to have the USB connected for the music and cannot copy and play from the hard drive.

COD, possibly GTA, and The Crew as far as I can remember.

not a lot of choice before chirstmas then i guess. i was hoping for project cars until that was pushed back..

looks like its gta5 again then. not necessarily a bad thing though.

It wouldn't be so bad if the PS4 had more than 2 USB ports.
