Hey guys,

Looking at getting a controller to play driving games on my PC and was wondering about the above. Have you any experience of using DS4 anf what's your impression?

Likely to get a PS4 in future so it would be something of an investment. Never used my PC for driving games before, always used the PS3. Also, can't find them for less than £40 outside eBay, that right?

I used the PS3 controller recently for driving games and it was horrific imo. Better off with a wheel. Doesnt feel the same as a PS3 driving game + controller :(

You must have been doing something wrong then, as there shouldn't be any difference that you'd notice.

Cheers for the replies guys. Hadn't thought about using my PS3 controllers, doh. What software do you use?

The experience varies from game to game, TBH. Both Assetto Corsa and Project Cars still have issues with all gamepads. For those, you'd be far better off with a wheel.

I use a 360 gamepad. Much better than the Ps3 gamepad, and supported by literally every game that's out there. You might also want to look at the XBONE gamepad, as there is a wired version of that out for the PC now.

What I use is the SCP Driver that allows you to use your PS2/3/4 gamepad and it is recognised as an XBox 360 gamepad, even better is that if you have a PS4 gamepad then you can change the LED colour on it as well as change many other settings on the PS4 gamepad including using the touchpad on it.

Forget purchasing an XBox 360 gamepad, if you don't like its layout (like myself) and you have a PS3/4 controller already then just install the SCP Driver (do not install MotionJoy ever).
