Who shaves their own head?

I do number 5-6 on the top and 3 round the back and sides, with a 4 to "fade in" between, then number 2 at the bottom near the neck. I prefer the short back and sides to a straight 2 all round.

I used to go grade 4 on top with grade 2 sides and back......then switched to grade 2 all over....then a few nights ago had a grade 1 all over. Bought a set of clippers about 5 years ago and the missus gives me a trim every 6 weeks or so. Considering how much the local barbers charge for a trim, I reckon I've saved a small fortune.

Bought mine from Argos around 20 years ago, use once a month.

Great buy, hope they last another 20 years!

No7 on top, No4 around the sides, then No2 on the back, No1 on sideburns.

No bowl cuts or centre parting cuts being used for that thing then I take it :p 20 years? Must be well oiled and maintained :p

I just have some Remington ones at the moment

i've got one of those from 1996. i don't shave my head anymore but i used to from 16-23 on a grade 2 as it was too thick to do anything with. those were the days :(

i always found the photo on the front a little sinister as the woman would butcher those locks going straight in with a clipper.

Been doing mine for about 10 years now. Had a cordless clipper for about 6 years, true the battery is gone, the cable is pretty tatty too. But I can do min less than 5 mins, 1 mirror and no misses needed. but that's also going round a coco pop mole on the back of my head. Every Friday after work, 0 all over.

I bought a set of clippers for 30 quid 10 years ago and never looked back probably saves about £800 to £1000. Not a lot compared to what women spend on a cut but it has added up. Thinking about it that's probably what the wife spends in a year.

No. 1 all over for me. I tried that round Babylis thingy, it was horrible, ended up using the clippers that came with it. Got a nice set of cordless Whal clippers now, job's done in no time at all.

Wahl clippers do the job - cut my own hair for the last 4 years or so. Had shoulder length hair (longer in the past) for many many years, but I just got tired of it and whipped it all off with the clippers.
I guess it's about an inch long on top with back & sides about a third of that at the moment, will need cutting again in a couple of weeks.

I've had the same hairdo for the last 25 years, none of this teddy boy hairdo with beard looks shannanigans that's all the craze here lol.

As for the oil, I lost it about 15 year ago - never bothered getting anymore lol

H'mm, I've been lucky so far, not going bald or grey *touch wood*, hope it stays that way lol.
