Storage boxes for Bluray/DVD cases

So I'm looking to save space my storing my Blurays and DVDs in the loft having ripped them to my server. I was wondering if anyone knew of any boxes to store Blurays and DVD cases in that are specifically designed for that kind of storage? As in they are made to be able to take two Blurays next to each other widthwise. If not I'll just get a few big boxes from the local pound shop. :)
 
Hi Derek. £11 is probably a bit too much for plastic cases. :p Having said that the ones at the local pound shop probably cost similar amounts and aren't as strong. I just wondered if there were any boxes designed around the dimensions of Bluray/DVD cases. :)

I think those flattish under bed storage boxes are probably best as you can store them spine up and only 1 deep so can always locate the right dvd.

Way too many DVDs etc to store under my bed. :p

Hmm. Would prefer boxes really. I could buy shares in a clingfilm company and profit!
 
I didnt mean to put under your bed, i meant to put in the loft, but it'd be handy if you didn't have multiple layers to dig through if you needed a particular disk.

Alternatively, how big is your loft? You could build some kind of shelving to keep them all on?

I know you didn't. I was joking. The plan is to rip the Blurays so I won't need regular access to the discs.

Yep. It's amazing how much they cost for some plastic boxes. Looks like I'll have to buy some from a pound shop and give up on finding boxes that are the right dimensions. :(
 
Nice find bledd. :) I guess Wham don't make ones that are specifically for Blurays? The ones I've found appear to be for just one row of discs. Do you know if they make boxes for two rows of discs next to each other? Doesn't matter if they don't, I can just buy enough boxes for all my DVDs/Blurays. :)
 
Don't know.

I don't own the DVD one, just noticed them when I was looking for other sized boxes. Tesco/B&Q sell some of them.
