I don't believe for one minute someone would run the risk of drowning getting across from Africa to Italy, then dragging themselves across Europe to Calais and try hiding in a lorry / hanging on for dear life underneath a lorry for £36 a week.

People want to make a decent living, perhaps earn enough money to send some home to look after their families not to live on benefits. People that have that much drive to risk their lives and travel 1000s of miles to make a better life for themselves don't do it for benefits which they can't claim anyway.

Its not just for £36, like i said its for all the other indirect benefits.

But if you take a country like somalia for example. How far does £36 go?

Average salary per month is 38875.00 Somali Shilling

How is that relevant? The UK doesn't have the same standard of living so £36 in the UK is nothing, Jesus Christ :confused:

But frankly compared to me his grammar is awful, it's hardly better than txt speak half the time, he sounds like a teenager but i think i saw in another thread he's almost as old as i am!

I don't think he should be able to get away with such a serious accusation without consequence in my opinion, if i was a mod looking at this thread if he couldn't back something like that up it would earn him a holiday.

True and i take your point, i know it's not perfect and have a bad habit of continuously editing my posts until I'm happy, but I've made a concerted effort to improve my vocabulary and grammar and have made great strides, which is more than can be said of others.

And it's far from the main point

I'm still waiting for an apology i know won't come because he doesn't have the balls to admit when he's wrong
