Does your partner approve of your hobbies?

I know what you mean but I don't think there is much difference between the amount of time men and women have to themselves, men just tend to spend more of it on a specific activity.
 
Mine doesn't generally. She knows I spent just under £1k on a PC & G27 earlier in the year but I sold a load of stuff on Gumtree including my Xbox360 and Wireless Wheel to recoup some of the cost. She's indifferent to PC gaming, doesn't see it as being 'geeky' or anything as I used to play the 360 quite a lot; probably just sees it as 'boys and their toys'.

When she's not doing ****loads of schoolwork (she's a teacher) her hobbies mainly include reading her Kindle or baking cakes. I don't have any issues with those at all especially as I get any leftover cakes :D

The only thing she gets a little frustrated with is my band; not in the sense that i'm in one but all the time off from work I need for it. We've toured 3 times this year (will be 4 next month) and aside from 3 days the rest of them (27) have been used on the band. We went away for a short break in July but the last time we had a proper holiday was Turkey 2012.

She's really supportive and comes to local Bristol gigs when she can, just the time off thing is a bit annoying. To an extent it is to me as well, the only time off I have from work are weekends; and when we're touring it's like a 2nd job!
 
Golf on a Sunday morning. Last weekend we had a row, which was kicked off by her saying 'is this going to be a weekly thing then?'.

1. I don't know, lads don't plan that far in advance.
2. I work all week while you don't work at all, so what if it is!?

Kids are the issue, as a 3 year old and a 5 month old are obviously hard work. But I need my 'me time'. Gaaah!

Haha. Did you say that? If so was it an "oh no" moment. I imagine her saying something along the lines of "you think looking after the kids isn't work?!", and it just snowballing from there. :p

Mines quite happy for me to indulge my hobbies of cycling, computers & photography.
She has no real interest in any of them, but has never complained that I'm spending too much on them :D
 
We both love spending time with each other, but we also like doing our own thing. My girlfriend doesn't mind my gaming or PC tinkering, similarly how I don't mind the things she does on her own. Win-win.
