Anyone ever had these? I grew up eating egg and banana sandwiches, which seemed perfectly normal to me all my life, until I had one in front of a friend who thought it was quite freakish. Thinking about it, it does seem like a total mismatch but they are so delicious.

I've googled, asked around, and even asked relatives and it seems my family are the only ones who eat these.

So asked mum and she claims to have invented them :) which may be true but I doubt it.

2 Pieces White bread with choice of spread
Boiled egg sliced (best if still warm)
Ripe Banana Sliced (must be starting to become dotted)

Layer of banana first and then a layer of egg

To change things on occasions you can also add some salad, lettuce/tomato/cucumber and onion (lol)

So anyone?

So it's confirmed we're freaks :)

Don't knock it till you try it, hopefully someone will try it and report back as I absolutely love them.

Guess this combo also falls into the same category?

Toast
Sweet scrambled eggs (Sweet / mixed with sugar & cooked until golden brown)
Beans
Fishfingers
Ketchchup

Sounds so weird and not very nice so now I feel like I have to try it!
I used to just have rye bread tosted with banana on top or white toast with marmalade and cheese. Havent had either for a while...

No, yet again, that's another monstrosity.
