US: The Walking Dead Season 5 (contains spoilers)

Not to mention the centre of washington DC is going to be literally millions of walkers, being a main city and all. How do they expect to punch through that?

yeah but remember the team is now crack squad zombie killers so no amount of walkers is going to hold back Rick in Machete mode and Tyrese with "hammer time"!

edit: I'm too tired to read properly it seems

lol

Yup I noticed that too. Especially with her **** it I'm off to Washington. Not even a thought about her lol

Good Point. Did Daryl have time to tell her what happened to her?

I thought there was a scene where the Termites came to pull them out of the rail car - they (and us) overhead Daryl saying something like 'Black Car with a white cross on it, tried to follow it' and Maggie say 'but she's alive?'

I just remembered at the end of episode 1 of this season we caught a glimpse of Morgan Jones! Excited to see where his back story will take the show  Last time he saw Rick they parted on friendly terms right?

Finally they've managed a decent season, first 3 episodes have been superb. Hope it carries on like this and washes the bad taste of the last 4 seasons away.

I have a real love/hate relationship with the show, concept is great but execution is mainly poor. I think out of the first 4 seasons there have been maybe 4/5 standout episodes. The rest is ultimately forgettable.

S1 was great. It had more in it because it was only 6 eps. I do agree that S2,3,4 were kinda boring for the most part. Farmville/Prisonville killed it. It's better when the group is on the move with a goal, like getting to DC, instead of staying at one homebase for so long.

The show has been garbage for the most part, the only reason I keep watching is in the hope that it returns to the awesomeness of the first episode of season one, this season finally looks like it may be going that way :D

If anything, look at it for the great character progression story that it is.

Don't get me wrong, I was bored as hell through most of the farm/prison saga, but could appreciate that it's more about how the situation changes people etc.

Well that episode was almost enough to put me off the entire show. All of those people were annoying as hell, and that police woman needed a good chopping up. Also, Beth didn't ask nearly as many questions as any normal person would. Ughhhh

That cop! Mmmmm... :)

Lol :D - like woman in uniform?

The episode was good imo nowhere near as bad as some made out.

Finally Beth arc unfolding it almost like season 1 Rick waking up again. The cops don't know what they dragged into the door. She the destroyer of worlds.....or bad guy bases

Dunno if it was just me but seemed there was a bit of a half-life influence to episode 4 in the way the environment was done, lighting, angles it was shot from, the style and type of music cues and just overall ambiance.

Most of season 1 was good though I can only rewatch the first episode, I hated season 2 and had to skip large sections of predictable character development, 3 and 4 were ok but got a bit old fast, but some good bits too.

Her character has never really been that type, mostly very passive then sudden bursts of the extreme (like the thing that didn't happen near the end of the episode).

Agreed...

Boring episode, bad acting and generally no personality with any of them. I see we are back to normal then

That was tedious, I had a feeling they'd dial it back a bit after 2 cracking episodes.

I can see the new formula of their show.
"Everyone loves to hate the really evil characters and see them die".
"Okay, then let's make an entire season of it".

I'll admit so far it's good seeing those deserving of it, getting it good.
However it's going to get stale, can't just focus on that and hope it keeps working.
