Not necesarily, I just find it surprising. This is a tech forum, Apple are one of the worlds largest tech companies, Steve Jobs' passing was massive news, his replacement was not exactly a secret either.

We're an open minded bunch in GD (mostly

), so this sort of thing is met with a shrug. It's still useful to breaking down barriers in the wider world to have high profile people coming out as LGBT, so I can only be appreciative when such people do so.
