*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

I'm just saying that these people claiming to need to regularly switch 20 weapons between characters might not actually need to do that. Do these people have these problems with all the other loot games? Borderlands for example is far more lenient with storage space both on characters and loot share (I think the shared stash only had 4 slots from memory and required getting a significant way through the story!) Yet never saw many complaints about that
Perhaps the comparison/contrast isn't needed? If people have an issue with Destiny's vault its largely irrelevant to mention another game (doesn't help the issue being discussed). Perhaps people need to be judicial in what they keep and use...

Ultimately a character can hold 27 weapons (well its 30 but 3 have to be in hand) it makes sense to match that in the vault as a minimum. I completely understand your valid point that each character can hold some but it becomes a chore to manage. I throw the guns I mostly use and a few I need to level in the vault - I know I could be choosy but when it takes minutes to swap character and get to the tower it's far easier to centralise a lot of your items...

Bungies lack of forethought in this game is very apparent. The vault really shows this - anyone got anything in their armour vault other than a couple of pieces of armour for a class you don't have yet? Hopefully when new raid sets turn up it will be utilised...

With regards to Agility, I can state that 100% I am better on PVP with my stats set up for agility rather than armour. It definitely makes a difference for me.

shadow price, wasnt a fan of doctor nope and have dismantled two

as for pulse rifle the super pox is good
Super Pox is awful - Bad Seed Down is better IMHO. The Super Pox takes up too much of the screen when ADS and also reduces the FOV significantly. BSD doesn't have the impact but just seems

Pulse riflea seem to be the worst primary class - just jack of traded and master of none
Thanks chaps :)

I was thinking about the Shadow Price due to it being a better all round package.

I have a love / hate relationship with the pulse rifles. My secondary character is using a fully upgraded Strangers Rifle and honestly it isn't as bad I was expecting it to be. The upgrade perks have improved it no end. A different higher attack rare one though, URGH. I got rid of that nearly straight away.
If you have the Rep and Crucible Marks the New Monarchys Vanquisher 8 is the better than the Shadow Price - obviously only talking about the shop bought versions...

Weirdly my armour vault is almost full :p I thought that would run out of space far quicker (given that legendary and up are class specific and there are four types of armor, far more likely you'd save items for a future alt) I've also got all the different class items I've found just in case I get bored, probably don't need them :p

I only have VGM's at the moment. Given I only seem to be getting Ascendant energy for moving up a VG rank I will switch back to Dead Orbit (which I am halfway through rank 1 already) before moving onto NM.

Now use that same notion for the weapons vault and youll realise how quickly that gets full for other people :p;)

Anyway lets change the discussion - who here is pretty much gonna try to stop playing Destiny once the first 2 expansions have turned up? Cant see me putting my hand in my pocket once Ive seen what the first two expansions have to offer

I will play the first two expansions (Paid for them already as part of the LE bundle) but after that... I dont' know.

I might continue if the fight / mission / patrol dynamics are massively overhauled in the future. There is only so much "I need to scan something for 5 minutes, please protect me from waves of enemies" that I can stand.

I'd like to be able to organize items in the vault

I've got items that I'd like to level up in future, but am currently unable to (eg thorn when I've already got 2 exotics on the go, one on each character)

I've got starter items (eg a level 10 blue hand canon) that I'd like to keep in case I use on a 3rd character.

I've also got items that I swap between characters and are effectively pool weapons.

Just the ability maybe to stack them like you do resources, and then clicking on them changes the vault view to just the items within the stack ?

Col_Jacko and Lucidity, I have added and invited you to play. Im about 1/2 way through the nightfall.

As well as that, I wish I could view my rep for each faction without having to travel to the Tower. A few other things like that are annoying, like you can only do certain things in orbit, on a planet or at the Tower.
