Perhaps the comparison/contrast isn't needed? If people have an issue with Destiny's vault its largely irrelevant to mention another game (doesn't help the issue being discussed). Perhaps people need to be judicial in what they keep and use...I'm just saying that these people claiming to need to regularly switch 20 weapons between characters might not actually need to do that. Do these people have these problems with all the other loot games? Borderlands for example is far more lenient with storage space both on characters and loot share (I think the shared stash only had 4 slots from memory and required getting a significant way through the story!) Yet never saw many complaints about that![]()
Ultimately a character can hold 27 weapons (well its 30 but 3 have to be in hand) it makes sense to match that in the vault as a minimum. I completely understand your valid point that each character can hold some but it becomes a chore to manage. I throw the guns I mostly use and a few I need to level in the vault - I know I could be choosy but when it takes minutes to swap character and get to the tower it's far easier to centralise a lot of your items...
Bungies lack of forethought in this game is very apparent. The vault really shows this - anyone got anything in their armour vault other than a couple of pieces of armour for a class you don't have yet? Hopefully when new raid sets turn up it will be utilised...
