The fact that you're even asking the question shows you have doubts and are uncertain.
Which means regardless of which console you buy, once the novelty wears off you'll want to get rid again.
If I'm honest im not overly impressed with either console at the moment, none of them have any games that have really wowed me, and to be honest I reckon I could have waited before buying either. (Early adopters pay more, have less games, and more bugs, kinks etc in u.i but I have this need to buy on launch lol) Put it this way if I sold both of them I certainly wouldn't miss them, but I'm keeping hold of them as I'll only end up buying them again when a game comes out that I really want whether it be halo 5 or uncharted 4.
I remember me being happier at the launch of Xbox 360 with pgr and PS3 with motor storm than either forza 5 or driveclub.
Yes they're different types of racing games but I found that I got more enjoyment at the time and was wowed more at the time by pgr and motor storm. Both pgr with its graphics at the time and fun racing impressed me, and motorstorm with its track deformation and fun gameplay.
Anyway if you do get a console my advice to you would be just keep hold of it even if you get bored, as you'll only likely pick one up again, and I assume you're selling these consoles after, so therefore losing money? So makes sense to keep hold of them. New consoles are always generally meh for a little while, I think towards the end of 2015 is when we'll really see must have games
