Kingdom is a raw family drama set against the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Venice, California. Alvey Kulina owns Navy St. MMA with the help of his girlfriend Lisa Prince. He is willing to go through extraordinary means to make sure his fighters are taken care of, but all of this responsibility comes at a steep price. He has complicated relationships with both of his sons, Jay and Nate, who are both struggling with their own identities and places within Alvey's life and gym.

Watched first 2 an interesting back drop with the whole MMA pitch it does look a strong show with good actors and characters however I think its lacking long term valve I mean how much can they really do and show with a tv series based in the mma world?

I think this is brilliant, really enjoyed the first few episodes.

Regarding long term value, the closest sports show I can think of is Friday Night Lights. Although based on American Football (with a lot less swearing/violence) it managed five seasons and I would have happily watched another five. Kingdom has that same feel to me at the moment.

Yeah the third came out a couple of days ago. I didn't realise there was even a second until the third appeared

I've enjoyed all the episodes so far. I like the characters and can see this keeping me wanting to find out more.

Still enjoying this and it's been renewed for another 2 seasons already. Kinda nice to know it's not going to get cancelled and we'll get at least 3 seasons.
