Just got the Vex Mythoclast. I feel 50% complete now, just need Raid boots until I'm fully content :D

Meanwhile I've done the raid 8 times and have one pair of boots and a flourescent skirt show for it. :( RNG is a cruel mistress.
 
Well that was an interesting evening.

Turns out hitting "X" on Dr Nope doesn't provide a review of what perks / upgrades it has.... :o (Yeah I done derped :p)

Not the end of the world as I am finding it quite beastly in certain scenarios (it tears through the cabal quite nicely).

Received the Bab Juju bounty which looks more straight forward than the Thorn one (at least for me). Not looking forward to playing 25 strikes though (given the repetition). I think I will probably spread them out over the coming week so its not all bad (I won't be able to do them in time for the third part with Xur before he disappears this weekend)

Got to say thanks to McTrials for providing an assist right at the end of the Weekly Heroic (lvl 28) - that damn Axis Minotaur.... I tried a few approaches to beating the final boss, but found staying at the top seems the easiest / most straight forward when trying it solo.

Thanks to the drops from that Heroic and patrol bounties I went from level 21 to level 25 on my Hunter. One of the blue engrams decoded into a legendary pair of boots... first time for everything! :D
Moving her to level 26 is just a case of upgrading the armour she currently has without using any shards...
 
Bad Juju's 25 strike is simple, just do the 'normal strike' for summoning pits from the Venus playlist. 10mins each run. I did find it boring after 5, so stick with Tiger Vanguard for the rest, ended up with loads of blue engram - useful as most turned into strange coins :)

e: So I got boots and gloves thus far from last night Hard Raid, looking at the stats, I am underwhelm. Bit pointless getting to Level 30 when a lot of the attack is focused on Vex / Raid. Feels like once they are upgraded and I reach 30, it'll only be worn 'for show' or to Raid on VoG.

Also, I am in 2 minds, get an exotic Warlock Helm to complete the look (already for the chest from Normal run a few weeks back) or hope for the helm drop just so I can keep Sunbreaker...

This was my plan although I was going to mix it up by doing say 5 of each at a time (5 normal then 5 Tiger etc). Some of the strikes I haven't even done normally - only as part of the playlist or weekly heroic..

I need 1 more strange coin for a potential Xur exotic weapon.

I tried doing the weekly heroic when my hunter was only level 21 and well lets just say; -33% damage with no void subclass and a naff void sniper = rage inducing repeats of the boss battle. I had to give up in the end as the Minotaur was just tearing me apart. Staying up top was not a good tactic as I couldn't drop him quick enough given the void splash damage - hitting him with a solar grenade just seemed to tickle him. The one time I managed to drop all of the Minotaurs the damn bossed glitched out and wouldn't "spawn".

Looking back I should have given her the void special / heavy weapons from my main character but at the time I didn't think about that.

It's funny that on one character I had no trouble, yet the same level, with the same enemies, spawning in the same place is a nightmare on another character. :o

Am I right in thinking that I can still get the strange coins on my second character even though I have got all 9 with my main character?

Yup, potentially if you can do the level 28, 9 coins awaits.

I have only 23 this week, so if the weapon isn't up to scratch, I will be buying whatever armour if I don't already have in my collection.

Not even sure why I'm collecting, My warlock and Hunter each have a fully levelled up exotic armour now.

I should be able to do the level 26 for 6 coins but 28 is going to be a push on my level 25 hunter even with decent weapons.
 
Xur has patience and time sniper for sale. Not sure whether to buy it or wait for icebreaker to come round again.

He's down the steps on the left before you get to the vanguard.

Also selling: The Armamentarium titan chest armour. Lucky Raspberry hunter chest armour. Voidfang vestments warlock chest armour. A helmet engram.

Time and Patience is for sale... tempting.

Icebreaker is awesome, Time and Patience should be good for Solo weekly when you want to be out of sight.
 
I'm personally hoping that he's got some cool coloured sparrow upgrades! Bought a blue sparrow from Vanguard recently in anticipation for this (had nothing to waste marks on [and still no sparrow from Atheon :(]) so hopefully it's some nice coloured trails this week :D
