The CPU above I have running at 4.5 ghz at 1.22V, temps normally sit at 60cish .

It has been delid and liquid pro put on it, Am very tempted to ramp this CPU upto 1.35v and see what kind of clock I can get. I'd be happy with 4.8ghz ish. Is it worth trying or ?

Cheers.

4.5 @ 1.22V is good going.

Keep pushing and see what you can get!! Theres a good bit of room for a higher OC :)

Techen, where are you seeing 1.22v..?

60'c at load I presume? What cooler?

Did you get 4.8ghz on 1.35? O:

Sig needs updating, that was my first 4790k. Benched at 4.8 on 1.32v but nit game stable. Current chip is at 4.7 on 1.300v. May run on lower voltage but haven't really tried it yet.

Thanks, I might give 1.3v at 4.7 a go and see if its stable. Would be a nice place to sit :P

Im having mine at 4.8ghz with 1.301V(bios)/1.302V(cpu-z load). Running at 4.8k/1.305v for 24/7 just to make sure :P
Cache 4.5ghz + 1.21v(windows)
Perfectly stable :)

Cooler used: NH D-15. Tepms 80C average under heavy load(not prime95 lol). Getting water soon, already bought and waiting for delivery

Hoping for 4.9k+ stable..

Asus real bench and games for me. You cant stress test theese like other Intel chips. Intel themselves don't reccomend stuff like p95/ibt etc.

just aout of pure curiosity, what do u consider "stable" ? I see ppl using different programs and methods.
Which one satisfies u ? :)

I use AIDA64, Benchmarks such as the 3DMarks, Unigine, Game benchmarks and games, If it's stable in those then it's stable for me :)

Exactly, JJ from Asus did a video on this I believe, He was very against using P95, IBT etc... as it pushes the CPU's to unrealistic levels, He mentioned AIDA64 as it was coded with the new CPU architectures in mind where as P95, IBT wasn't.

Well i tried aida and from my experience it isnt that stressful for a cpu(i checked cpu/fpu/cache) so i wasnt sure if its 'nuff' to use it.
I know about it that asus reccomends using it but like i said i wasnt rly sure.

I experienced that i had a cpu stable for 10h in aida but fails occt, occt:cpu test(not linpack) after half an hour. This is where my feelings come from...

I've had CPU's be stable in all known benchmarks, Games and applications and then fall short on things like OCCT, I never bother with OCCT as again it's an unrealistic scenario.

P.S You might want to shorten your sig to 4 lines before the mods ban you.

I was thinking the same way about stability..

I also find asus real bench more stressful than aida4. Same thoughts ?

Thx for the sig warning...however they already removed it :D

In all honesty I don't know a lot about ROGs Realbench but seeing as it's actually made by Asus I imagine it's a good one to use in place of P95, OCCT, IBT etc...
