Another Spec me a TV thread

I'm looking for a new TV with the following criteria and hoped one of you fine chaps might be able to suggest a TV model or two to look at?

3 x HDMI ports or more
42" but would consider a bit bigger or smaller
Full HD etc, best picture quality I can get
don't want 3D, smart TV or Freeview but if it comes with them then so be it

I have a budget of approx £400 and that is a little flexiable

Costco are selling the 42" Sony W706 for £408 inc. with a 5 year warranty. I'm convinced that you won't find a better TV for that price, or even £100 more.

People on this forum are perfectly helpful but unfortunately you get people, like apparently you, who seem to expect an immediate response every time they ask a question ...

The Sony W706 is a great shout and I really doubt you'd get anything better at that price. If you could up your budget then the Samsung UE48H6400 looks good but it's a fair bit more.
