need help with water cooling

There's loads of people on this forum that are pc gods. If you need advice just ask. It's always better to ask first before blowing something up :D. Mistakes can be expensive :(.

My only worry is how to fit the bay's and and motherboard

Also could put some speakers in if j was thinking
 
No worries :).

You can buy motherboard trays that you could build into the desk or you could mark out on some paper where the mobo holes are then drill through the paper to place the mounts directly into the desk.

As for the bay why not get an external blueray and sit it on the desk? Keeps the sides clean. Or I think you can buy 5.25" enclosures which you could build into the desk again. All you'd need is a jigsaw to cut the opening and line the cage up behind it.

I wouldn't advise putting the speakers in it as it will distort noise/take up space. Along with if you follow my luck they'll blow and you'll never be able to find a replacement to fit the same hole :D.

Does your mate have experience in building things?

often if you have an old case kicking about it is actually easier to cut out the mounting plate with all the pre drilled holes and fix that into the desk
