Are you sure its from that?

Also try some games and listen out for it.
 
Quick tip..

hold ALT and tap PrintScreen to only print screen the current window. (ie, just your CPU-Z window). This will cut out anything else :)

I will run it and I guess is the GPU since it makes a whine , sharp-ish and everytime the images change in 3Dmark from a scene to the other the whine chances to a higher or lower frequency.
 
Well run it, get the score and see what its doing there.

Then actually use it in proper games and see if it whines still.

I think it may not.

If you are not happy DSR it back for an exchange.

Well, the noise is not too bad so i could deal with that but my question is, is it bad for the gpu ? or is just a random noise which won't affect its performance and "lifetime" .
 
There's a thread in the gfx forum about coil whine on the 9 series.

It maybe only doing it on loading screens when the frame rate shoots up into the many hundreds+ fps
 
Well, the whine is gone. I was running the first test there. Didnt even look at it, the ones for the smartphones :D im running the high end pcs one now and no coil whine. You were right about the fps, i had 16000 fps :D

I don't think I could have done it without you guys. Helped me a LOT with picking parts and mounting this beast :D . I've been asking some stupid questions at time to make sure everything is right but you still helped me :D . Thanks a lot!

I just played a match of Battlefield 3 on ultra settings, everything maxed out. Didn't dip under 100fps at any given time <3 <3 <3.

Runs smooth and quite as well!

By the way guys :D I know I've been asking maybe some funny/stupid questions while installing everything as i wanted to make sure i do everything by the book this time but I study web development and software engineering in college so I'm not really new to this "world" haha :D

Just wanted to point that out so you don't think I am very bad when it comes to computers :D .

But as I said before, I don't think I could have built this without your help or it would have taken more than 1 day in the best case scenario.
 
It's all easy when you know where you are going or if you have been there before :)
