Corsair Carbide 540 on its side?

I have limited space in my AV unit for my PC so I need a HTPC style case. The one I have isn't really up to the job so I was looking at the Corsair Carbide 540, but, it would have to placed on its side and rotated so that the window is on the top and the feet are at the rear.

Would this be possible long term with the case or would it cause problems with cooling etc?

One problem it would solve is GPU sagging, also, I think it would look better without having the cooling fins down the left-hand side.

Hi,
It's not an issue having this case on the side. Mind one thing: you would have to place some feet under so PSU's fan can take some air in, otherwise it will be blocked.

Yeah, I should have said that I have some rubber feet for it to sit on. Thanks for the reply.

Having considered it some more, I actually think, that for me, the 540 will work better on its side than if I could find somewhere for it to sit in its normal position.

Its my next pay-day purchase.
