Hi all,
Originally I thought this was just an issue with Watch Dogs (known problem) but recently I have been getting the same issue with Lords of the Fallen, The Evil Within and WoW. In fact it pops up in all games to a varying degree and is becoming frustrating. 60fps constant then all of a sudden my GPU power decreases for some reason (looking at Afterburner) and then shoots back up... this seems to equate with the sudden 60-40(sometimes 30) drops I get randomly.

I would really appreciate some help with this if anyone has any information?

Thanks

Edit - Just to add. I have 16GB RAM and 4770k @ 4.4GHz. A Z87 G1 Sniper Motherboard and the GPU's hit around 79c.

Got "prefer maximum performance" highlighted in the Nvidia control panel or "adaptive"? If the later, change it, as its known to interfere with numerous games, especially with SLI due to temporarily dropping your clockrates due to you hitting your vsync/frame limit requirement.

It was on adaptive. I will try out a game and see if it works.

Edit - You know what I don't want to speak too soon, but I think that fixed it! I wonder why it isn't set to "prefer maximum performance" to begin with?
