I was very close to jumping on this one. The only concern I had was whether my PSU would cause coil whine in the card as I read that the 970 really pushes the limits of 2x6pin power set-ups. Still well done to those of you who made the jump. I doubt we'll see a 970 at £240 this side of Christmas (barring any Black Fridayness).

so far its seems really good. But no clue what to use for OCING nvidia anymore,

MSI Afterburner appears to work good, and reporting like 40degrees :)

Did you opt for Saturday delivery?
MSI afterburner is fine.
You can search some threads here or google for overclocking tips, but essentially you just crank up the settings gradually and run a stress test, keep going til you run into problems, then turn it down a few notches from there.

I'm curious to see what type of temps it gets at factory settings at 100% load anyway. I doubt mine will get anywhere near 100% load while gamin atm xD (unless testing DSR out).

Can't wait to play Borderlands with alllll the eye candy / PhysX turned up to max ^_^

Stock running DSR (which is amazing) I'm sitting about 45 degrees, it idles about 28 in my room :)

Rather happy with this.
 
Got mine delivered yesterday, only had a quick chance of playing but so far really impressed, cool and quiet in operation.

GPU-Z reports the core speed slightly higher than advertised.
