I walked into every so-called mens clothing store in Brent Cross shopping centre. For a start, half of them lied as they aren't mens clothing stores; they sell kids clothes for the current weak strain of twenty-something males who haven't had their marbles drop yet and have the waist of Kate Moss. How can a 20 year old who'd fit into a size 6 dress claim to be a man?
There's no bloody shop that sells gear for men in their thirties. I'm not fat, just fully grown. 5'11" and a 34" waist, and I've now got two choices for new casual clothing: fight to get into jeans so tight I wouldn't be able to walk properly, or dress like a WW2 veteran courtesy of Marks and Spencer.
I'll just have to keep wearing suit trousers, as they seem to be the only thing out there that isn't too young or too old...
