United States Grand Prix 2014, Austin - Race 17/19

Why is the "thank you guys, all the hard work, all the boys at factory" so cringeworthy

Just what I was thinking basically, it's a very PR ready line, probably what the team wants him to say. Really it's that he says the same thing.

I'd quite like to see Vergne get penalised and harsher than Maldonado because he hurt two guys races, one very badly, Kyvat looked fast and could likely have beaten the lotus's and Button. He made contact with a stupid move and pushed him off the track when they were alongside each other, completely alongside. I'd quite like to see Lotus pick up some points tbh.

Hamilton can afford a DNF in the Brazil and then win the WDC by just finishing ahead of Rosberg in Abu Dhabi... However if Hamilton gets a DNF in Abu Dahbi and Rosberg wins it doesn't matter what he does in Brazil he can't win the WDC... Retarded!

Incidentally, Hamilton is now the 'winningest' driver ever in F1 to have won only a single WDC.

That was a pretty good race. Well done Hamilton bringing it home ahead of Rosberg but, for me, Ricciardo was the driver of the day and Vettel did pretty well too. Bad day for Ferrari.

It does make me laugh that with all the technology in F1, the drivers weights still get written down with a good old fashioned pen and paper. :D
