I've been to Wagah border on the India side and it's an amazing (if somwhat scary) experience.
It must have been absolute chaos
People getting whipped up into a near hysteria for the daily changing of the border guard.

It's full to bursting point every day. I witnessed the police literally beating people back with a stick because of the surge forward when the gates opened.
Hopefully this isn't the end to what was a really fascinating spectacle. Along with the cricket, it's one of those rare events where people from both sides of the border seemed to come together and celebrate their differences...
