Well, this woman lived that dream;

Now, my dad isn't a serial killer. But if he was, I reckon he'd be the type to plan it carefully, take his time, probably re-use tools he already had in the garage, and bodge something where he didn't have the right tool for the job. Gardening twine instead of cable ties, or a wood saw instead of a cleaver, or whatever.
His call-sign would probably be something boring, like the answer to 12-across on today's telegraph crossword, written in blood. Or with a cheap biro. Except he's not that well-read, so maybe it'd be the one from The Sun. And it would be written in spidery capitals, and smudged 'cos he's left handed.
He probably wouldn't be prolific, as he likes a lazy, easy life. But would be happy to get on with it when it needed doing. No nonsense.
Not sure on method of dispatch. Probably he'd like to just tie them up and throw them, still alive, in a lake or something. Or in a box in the attic.
Anyway, GD: what type of serial killer would your dad be?
