Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

If they were any good they wouldn't be moaning about it..........

Not true. I get annoyed when I get shot in the back without having a chance to retort and get no satisfaction when doing the same to others. Very rarely in CoD do I get that moment where you nail something crazy and win because your aim/movement was spot on. They've turned lowering the skill ceiling into an art form.

Because I'm old and slow by the time I have found the right button it's usually to late... :)

Enjoying the game more than I thought I would tbh. It's good fun.

I'm getting older, can't play games on above normal nowadays but still enjoying it, I'll try and finish the single player tonight, if I get chance

Played a couple of hours between campaign and multiplayer, seems pretty good.

Campaign seems solid, doesn't exactly draw you in but I didn't expect expect a COD campaign to do so, last decent one was COD4 campaign.

Multiplayer is pretty solid, ive gone 1:1 in my first few games, which is not bad considering just started and haven't played a online shooter for years.

I would say it is a little overwhelming though, just too much going on. Get shot from above, below, behind, in the sky etc. Too many perks and attachments, kill streaks etc just a lot going on. Guess its just a matter of time though to learn maps, and what everything does.

Personally I would prefer them to tone it down a but, keep it simple and meaningful.

That's what I said earlier the ping bars are going crazy but for the most part I didn't feel laggy not sure if it's a visual or actual connection issues.

They were going mental last night to the point where I was wondering if it was the display of the ping bars that was broken and not the actual connections.

I said the same thing last night. I do think it's actually the ping bars that are broken. If your ping was fluctuating as much as they say it is then the game would be completely unplayable.

I thought you were selling the game? :p That's right, I'm back!

Playing this last night was very frustrating. Couldn't kill anybody and constantly dying. I didn't go positive in a single game.
Jumped on HC TDM and went 16-8.
As much as I like the exo movements I think they contribute to dying all the time. They weren't getting used that much in HC. Maybe you lot should try HC.

There are definite connection issues. The constantly changing ping bars show this. Hopefully updates will fix some problems.
The spawn system is utterly shocking.

I actually like the maps in this game. R

It is for sale, on gum tree. I want cod perks/gameplay on destiny maps. Too many vantage spots for people to camp in, but then again it's me who's crap because I get killed by people hiding in Windows and corners.

The campaign really looks stunning at times. Without spoiling it for anyone who hasn't played it, there's a plot twist that happens in the campaign, and on the particular level where it happens the game looks almost photo realistic as you're playing, well if you kinda squint it does :D

For those who hate the multiplayer I'd recommend the campaign at least before getting rid.

I think the online will be ok, I stayed on quite late last night and had some decent matches, yes I was still about 3 kills for 20 deaths but I was enjoying it, rather than wanting to put my controller through my to which is a good sign.

I was stuck with Ghosts as I stupidly bought the digital version :( i hope the connections are better tonight.

I'm not judging the on one days play when the game wasn't really officially out. I'll try Core again tonight. If it annoys me I'll stick to HC.

Really enjoying this so far although there's still a refreshing lack of drop shotters/QS so that may change once they return.

The maps are superior to those found in both BLOPS2 and Ghosts I think, as are the weapons.
