EE or Three?

I found three to give me the best signal in the leeds area by a large margin, switched from o2 to three back when i lived there, still with them and have found the network to be generally brilliant, no real problems.

EE could not tell me how they were miscalculating 50% of my data usage, went back to Three and the only thing I regret is leaving Three in the first place.

I'm with EE and have been for past few years. Mostly because I get 40% off my monthly fee. 4G signal can be a bit hit and miss at times depending on where I am but you'll probably find that with most network providers.

The best way to check the signal in your area would be to just pick up a pay-as-you-go sim, put it in your phone and take it with you to the places you're at the most to see if the signal is any good. I'm currently with Three.

I have been with Vodafone and Giffgaff (O2), both of which were total crap. I had a friend on EE who kept having issues with signal drop-outs and the abysmal customer service, recommended him to Three and he's been happy ever since. Just try what i suggested above to see if Three/EE is any good for you.

I left EE for Three. Finally get internet at my desk now.

I've done the inverse of this, Three are generally quite good in Lincolnshire for 3G/4G but EE seem to have better cellular coverage indoors whereas Three struggled with moderately thick walls.

P.S. I was with Three for 4 years, other than signal issues indoors they were brilliant.
They were awkward when i requested by PAC code but i can't blame them.

Not what you asked, but have you tried the GIffgaff 4G trial? It's been a revelation for me, I bet the speeds aren't as quick as 3 or EE 4G but I seem to be picking up 4g more and more and the speeds just keep getting faster. I was getting ready to ditch GG until I tried the 4g.

With everything terrible I hear about EE & 3, I can't justify paying more for them when GG just about does the job.

Very variable depending where you are. At work location I get 4G from EE with a full strength signal, but lucky to get 3G on Three. At home both EE and Three have next to no signal of any kind. Tested with a variety of SIM cards to check signal as I don't trust coverage checkers!
