Never done this before but a small inexpensive item was not as described, I've messaged the seller who is ignoring me.

I can't be bothered to send it back so intend to give them bad feedback, however they're yet to give me my feedback and I fear they might be spiteful and do a tit for tat bad feedback too.

Can one dispute feedback?

As I mentioned it isn't an expensive item but I'm annoyed the seller is ignoring me and most likely they're doing this to other people too.

I had a bad purchase recently and i dont like leaving bad feedback but the sseller was rude and wouldn't refund . As soon as the bad feedback was left i got my money returned and a sob story asking for the negative feedback to be removed . I politely refused .

I just bought a replacement screen + digitizer from ebay for nexus 7 gen1 and it was marked as new. Arrives and it is clearly not new, even had some glue on the screen. What a waste of time. What is wrong with people? Now i have to pay postage to return it.

If nobody left bad feedback these jokers would continue fobbing people off. Do it and simply man up to the potential consequences... And then report to eBay if he leaves neg.

How long have they ignored you?

Messaged them on Sunday so it's been 2 working days.

I have 100% feedback and been on ebay since 2006 (score 76 :D )

I spent 10s of pence on this item and was annoyed but as usual will probably do nothing now I've got it off my chest.

Thanks GD :)

I would give them a week before leaving negative feedback.

I have had plenty of instances where I have with held feedback until the issue has been amicably sorted, then give plain positive feedback with no mention of the issue out of courtesy.

But there are some people that are just so self righteous and arrogant that they treat all eBay sellers like shops and have to stomp their foot childishly even after amicable settlement. I hate people like that, my dad buys and sells bicycles on eBay (as a reirement hobby) after doing them up... one little thing where he spotted a dangerous issue after the item was sold and even though he refunded and profusely apologized the other person he got negative feedback with disguised bad language and horrible comments.

Generally leaving bad feedback gets the sellers attention quickest. You can retract it later if you reach a solution.

I would leave bad feedback regardless of if they respond or not, for inexpensive items there isnt much incentive to return them so it's more important that they are as described.

Otherwise they might as well just invite people to leave them bad feedback..

Regardless of wether the item was inexpensive or not,If theres an issue with it and the seller is not helping you out..i would without hesitation leave bad feedback..its their own doing for not sorting the problem.

I had a similar issue some time back, bought an item(Virgin cable box cover)..it said in the discription that it was exactly the same Dimentions and quality as the official one..but when it come it was much much smaller and was different inside..and was nothing like the official one in size or quality..infact it was naff.

But i left good feedback regardless but mentioned that the description was not correct...You should have seen the message he sent me..swearing at me and everything..Christ knows what he would have done if id have left him negative feedback..probably murder his whole village or something..crazy people.
