Listening to Jeremy Vine on radio 2 at work today and 1 of the topics was cyclist are now offended by a sign on the back of trucks and buses saying cyclists stay back.

Got me thinking is there anything this country isn't offended by these days is this country really turning into a nation of tarts

I'm offended by people taking offence! And those that listen to Jeremy vine :p.

It's utter crap should go back to the days of "get over it".

Well cyclists don't pay any road tax. So they should stay of the roads for starters.

Bloody cyclists....

Road Tax was abolished in the 1930's how old are you and when was the last time you read the highway code???

But I don't get why they are offended... its just a sign of warning because idiots will be idiots and get themselves in stupid situations, cyclists should not argue with big lorries that will squish them and not even notice.

Neither do vehicles, they pay vehicle tax. Should vehices stay off the road?

Regardless, Cyclists don't pay any sort of tax, insurance etc etc...

They need to stay of the road or accept they are a hazard on the road knowing it might be their last day.

The only problem I have with cyclists is when they ride 5 abreast along a twisty b road!

I'm not a regular cyclist, but I'm led to believe this is a recommended practice to put drivers off of overtaking when there's a small amount of room on a dangerous stretch of road, and also to make the cyclists more visible? Not completely sure though...
