Hey guys, wonder if you can help me. I have been using quite cheap "12watt(60watt) candle shaped" energy saving bulbs, but they are a tad rubbish and they only seem to last 2-3yrs, as I have gotten through 6 bulbs in the last 2-3yrs.
They are really dim when they are switched on and take 1-2mins to get to full brightness
They are not as bright as a 60watt bulb
they only last about 2-3yrs but on the packaging it says 10yrs.
I was thinking of just buying "42watt (60watt) 42 watt halogen bulbs", but the problem, is that I need 5 and I will be using loads more electric and it will put up the bill I bet?
So I am thinking of getting good quality energy saving bulbs and buying 1 every few weeks or something like that untill I have all 5, but Im not sure what ones to get.
So I need your help if possible please. I would like them to be a 60watt brightness and brighten up quickly when you switch on. Ah yeah to last 5-8yrs or longer?
These are the bulbs I have been buying..... http://www.chsinteractive.co.uk/ele...saving-warm-white-2700k-220-240v-lumineux.htm
