Two dead after cannibal attack

I'm not making light of what sounds like a pretty horrific event, however does anyone else think that "Two dead after cannibal attack at Argoed hostel" as a title for the story is a tad sensationalist/misleading by the BBC?

Or is it just me that was expecting to read that two people had been eaten?

I read it as two having been eaten originally.

From what I've read her face was pretty disfigured and he was in the process of eating an eyeball when he was tasered :eek:

Brutal. As for sensationalist, when I read the story earlier on BBC they were reporting he'd gouged her eyes out and eaten part of her face from what I remember.

Well I'd suggest shock for the female and as for the taser no idea they don't have the amps to kill directly but he may have had a weak heart already. Apparently they can cause arrhythmia which can lead to a heart attack.

Apparently he had recently been released a little while ago from prison from a 5+ year stretch for a violent attack on his partner. Obviously the rehabilitation system is working well.

Who ever claimed it was?

Anyone who believes rehabilitation should be the priority in prisons will readily tell you that currently it is nothing of the sort. Prison is, mostly, treated as punishment - so let's not be surprised when people who graduate from that system are not actually improved.

BTW, interesting outcome of our non-lethal suppression tool.
