upgrade to R9 280X iPower IceQ X2 Boost 3072MB

I have the HIS 280x and its a great card, the cooler is excellent but you;d be crazy not get a 290 with the game codes and such.
 
Powercolor card looks great but wondering if it's overkill since I only game at 1080p is 4gb even fully utilised? Plus my psu is a corsair Hx 650 not enough to run the card.

A 290 isn't a overkill for 1080, that's the res I game at and playing elder scrolls online at ultra graphics my 7950s over clocked to the hilt, they score a lot more graphics points in benchmarks than one 290X so they are faster than a 290x and they just about run elder scrolls online at ultra with good frames. And I often see eso using 3000-3500 video memory so the 290 is the perfect choice don't bother with the 280 because the 280 is just a tiny bit faster than one of my 7950s. But I got two :)

Also 650w is pleanty for a 290 :)
