Right, what is this beast infestation?

We've had some brown stains appearing in our under sink cupboard for a while, and they seem to have graduated to around the washing machine and a pipe box in the lounge. They can be a little moist and have a metallic smell.





Found some more in the foot of one of my speaker stands and they look like mites or eggs or something...



Any ideas? It's a bit grim. I would kill it with fire although I think that may burn the house down.
 
I don't like to say over they internet (as It is always watching) but you are going to need an exorcist.

Dammit. I knew that could be a possibility.

Ah well, let's hope I can sell the film rights to a Hollywood studio so they can make a mostly-rubbish horror movie about it.

It's not an exorcist he needs it's some bleach, hot soapy water, cleaning cloths, scrubbing brush, a mop and some elbow grease he needs. Minging.

I know, it's not nice. I've had a go at cleaning it but it usually comes back. I think a nuke may be the only option.
 
It's weird as seeing as it's brown with a metallic smell I'd have said a leak since it was under the sink and washing machine but seems a bit weird under the speaker set.
