Is every i7 4790K 4GHz a "Devil's Canyon"?

No matter what speed etc? So even 3.6Ghz ones?

But anyway, if I buy an i7 4790K 4Ghz, it will be a Devil's Canyon? :)

4790K is an unlocked devils canyon.
The 4790 is a locked Haswell.

If you buy an i7 4790K 4GHZ it will and will always be ; a devils canyon :p

No it isn't..

4790 is just denoted as Haswell, although, it is a Refreshed version. The only true Devils Canyon CPU is the 4790K as the "Devils Canyon" bit denotes the modifications that have been made to the cpu in production phase such as the additional power modifications etc.

Ahh, so it's the "K" that denotes it's an unlocked "Devils Canyon". THanks!

I'll ensure I get an i7 4790K 4ghz then!
