So, me and my patner love nothing more after a long week at work to have what we call a 'Chilly weekend' which basically means sitting around in our scruffs and watching TV and eating junk food for 2 days.

Call me antisocial, but this is literally time perfectly spent to me. Weekends are all about recharging your batteries, I would hate to be busy all weekend long and have no time to rest.

This weekend for example, I have just purchased the new WoW expansion and Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One. Cannot wait to veg out and get lost in these 2 for a couple of days.

How about you all? Are you lazy hermits like me, or always need to be doing something?

Saturday is my time out for the week. My wife goes to the aged P and I chill out, cook a stupendously hot chilli or similar. Do lots of things or nothing at all, depends how I feel.

Sunday feels like preparation for the coming week, check over the car etc.

When I have the kids its busy busy, but this weekend I have some old b&w movies and a bottle of Chianti and nothing else to do.
Joy ;)

Usually lads night out Friday, Saturday me and the missus tend to book a hotel somewhere go for a nice meal and then on a all dayer, Sunday poker games and beer :D

1 in 4 I am on call though so I do nowt :)

Bit of a lie in. Take my daughter swimming or we'll go to the park or the beach. Pop into town or maybe go somewhere like Arundel of Chichester. Cooking. Tending the allotment or gardening. DIY. Tidying up. Watching weekend telly. Playing games.

Just the usual dad type stuff.

I like to go to the pub and have a good few beers and some good chat. And also talk to new people.

Unfortunately I'm pretty bereft of friends so I usually sit in and get drunk alone. But, I guess the beer is better and cheaper!

I like a combination. Chilled, tv/films/games, eating, not leaving the house is ace, but then I like to mix it up too.

Last weekend I went in to central with a friend, saw the poppies, went whisky shopping, then got bladdered in a hotel bar.

This weekend I am out day-time clubbing on the Saturday, and plan to veg all of Sunday.

I normally spend Friday evening cleaning the house so its nice and tidy ready for the weekend

Saturday (mrs is at work) I game from early morning to around 8pm then its film time.

Sunday we spend watching back to back episodes of whatever TV series we are currently watching, might nip into town for a bite too eat if we fancy it

but generally we are very lazy on the weekend, making sure we get a lot of sleep as I seem to be half dead come Friday night

some weekends we got out and get slaughtered or go visit people

Friday night chill out.
Saturday chores, football, meal, entertain.
Sunday is for relaxing, walk, maybe football.

Can't stand TV or junk food!

On lazy weekends I'll mess around with instruments while the wife works with furniture. We'll normally go for a walk in nearby wood followed by a nice pint/glass of wine.

Perfect!

I work :( did go back to Sundays off but have had to restart them due to lack of organisation, time to find a new job me thinks.

Weekends are typically family focussed so taking nipper to different activities, running various errands and if I do have any time to myself either study or DIY.

Spending time together as a family is great but I do envy some of you that have absolutely no plans and just the dilemma of gaming or TV. Those days are now long gone :/

Edited - actually I'm in tomorrow evening on my own for the first time in months. Missus is out so I might have 2 hours to game or watch something I want to watch on the box! :) Happy days!
