Your average weekend plans?

Have a part time job on the weekends. Usually wake up an hour before I have to leave. Don't have time to go out on weekends so I just chill with my mates during the weekdays.

every other week I'm on call on either Saturday or Sunday, on those days I tend to play games or watch films.

when I'm not on call, it usually ends up being a LAN one night (shared house with 2 other guys, one is a gamer), and out on the town the other (funds allowing).

not sure if I'd bother with the latter so much if I was taken though :p

Friday Night : Sleep
Saturday : soft play and then sleep
Sunday : get dinner cooked for me by MIL then sleep

I have 2 kids :D

We have no weekend plans anymore, once every few months we do something but that's about it. The weekends are about what the kids want to do and more often than not it's not anything with us.

I think you need a hobby bud!

lol, no time. If there's a home game at the weekend, normally the other half goes out once she's up, so my day goes pretty quickly. Once I'm up and sorted the cats out I either sort out whatever needs doing around the house or watch tv/play ps4 for a few hours, cook lunch, the old man comes over and we walk to football at about 2. We'll get back 5:30, I'll then decide on what we're doing for dinner (the other half is also completely untrustworthy in a kitchen, I like my food cooked, not cremated) and by the time I've rustled something up and we've eaten its something like 7. We'll then watch a film, or something that's been recorded during the week. Sunday's aren't too different, just replace football with parents houses and we'll stay out later.

For example the to-do list at the house grows daily, the grass needs cutting pretty much every other week (think the builders must have thought it hilarious to put down the quickest growing grass ever or something), followed by a trip to the dump to get rid of said garden waste. I also need to sort out a frame around a bench I've put up in the shed as well as properly sort out some sort of hanging system for a ladder and a few tools. Then there is the rest of the loft that needs boarding up and some additional insulation that needs to be put down. I've also got around 500 dvd's/Blu-rays that I need to add to my newly built server, as well as sorting out the wake-on-lan issue I seem to have with said server. Then there are the two cat tree's I plan on mangling together, the wiring at the back of the telly that needs sorting, the harmony remote that needs reprogramming, attempting to sort out work lunch for the next few days/week - this is all off the top of my head things that need doing as I don't get a chance during the week.

Entirely depends on what's going on really!

Sometimes work.

Last weekend was mates birthday night on Friday, lads day out Saturday, slob/recover/game/etc Sunday.

This weekend will be chill Friday, mates house and maybe few drinks Saturday, chill Sunday.

Lucky....

My other half is a teacher, so every day there is the 5 billion alarms from 6am to 6:30am to make sure she gets up for work... Normally all they manage to do is annoy me immensely and wake me up when I have no reason to get up till about 8:30. Then the weekend comes and she "hates wasting the weekend" so the 5 billion alarms start at 8:30, which wake me up but she sleeps through, she'll eventually roll out of bed around 11 and moan at me for not waking her up. No lie in's for me :(

Depending on there being a football match there's usually something that needs doing around the house so not much hope of a relaxing day for me! If her family isn't descending on the house en-mass, there's usually a shopping trip to do, followed by an evening of strictly come prancing, z-factor, and a god-awful horror film as that's all she'll watch. Sunday is usually spent at one of the parents houses for a family dinner, then falling asleep due to overeating.

Sounds like you think your life kind of sucks.

I think you need a hobby bud!

Sounds like he needs to grow a pair! ;) Everything seems to be focused around his Mrs. She wants this, she'll do that. What about what you want to do?

Saturday I go running with my lad before his football training then we run back and have a family lunch. In the afternoon we watch whatever football match is on BT and after we play football piggy-in-the-middle in the garden - with you've guessed it - the football. Then we watch a film have a family dinner. In the evening depending on what everyone is done I'll just chill out and get stuff ready for Sunday. Sunday morning is my lad's football match so I go with him - Sunday dinner - afternoon see relatives/watch football/jam on the guitars. I never realised tbh how much commitment for serious football - 3 evenings per week are taken up per week for it too.
