PES 15 - The 'Hybrid' Pitch Is Oors (Our's)

I used PESEdit website and now got all proper logos and team names. Also I found a nice SweetFX profile out there which makes a huge difference in graphics. That said it still ain't nowhere near as good as FIFA 15 on PC, but it is still something :)

Anyone else purchased this? It does feel refreshingly different than FIFA 15. Just shame about the graphics though, they feel like a generation or two behind.

Ah, bought it anyway.

Only played one quick match but enjoyed it. Whereas I was comfortable sliding and winning the ball fairly in the FIFA 15 demo I earned myself a red and three yellows in this so I had better rein that in a bit here!

Graphics ARE poor though. I will look past that the best I can but it is disappointing (though I can't say I wasn't warned). In game it's laid out in a 'console-y' fashion too as there aren't the graphics settings options a PC user would expect.

I ended up pre-ordering day before release for £20 and it came yesterday! DVD is a waste of time as it just links back to Steam, which is nice as its all integrated with Steam now!

The game itself, trying to get used to the menu, feels a bit clunky, BAL is still a joke, no features, nothing, so boring. Online mode is a joke, went to an 11v11 and you just sit in lobby waiting to start because other idiots are idle or afk, they should put a timer on, theres also a bug with starting.

The graphics as mentioned is poor, still cartoony and looks like a 10 year old game, disappointed that Konami did not develop the PC version.

But the gameplay is fantastic, nice improvement over 14, passing is awesome.

Just an heads up if you missed it, in the install folder there is a settings exe which allow minimal changes but by default, I do not think you can access it "ingame".

where did u find the patch I cant find none at the moment

Konami REALLY need to take a look at 2K.

Their PC version of NBA 2K this year was on the money.

No cut features, gimped visuals.

Konami even cut stadium/pre-game intros from the PC version this year.

No tunnel cam etc, just straight to the game.

Konami, you suck.

Cheers, I had missed that as I just jumped on before heading for work this morning.

Maybe I'm exposing myself as a noob here but no other game has done it... PES kept opening in a window rather than full screen. Is that changed via Windows itself (Windows 8.1 here) - right click on the .exe and change it in properties or something?

I'll probably work it out when I get home tonight but if it's likely an easy fix I'd appreciate the advice. Cheers :)

The point is, they have took a bung and REMOVED features from the PC compared to the PS4.

That is not acceptable.

Oh dear. I think I'd rather not know - it's liable to P me off!

Trouble is, while we may consider it unacceptable in principle... a purchase is an acceptance.

The Settings program in the install folder allows you to specify Window Mode or Full screen. Is stupid you cannot choose those settings from ingame.

I only thought to look there as it has been the same for nearly all prior PES versions on PC.

Another tip, ALT+Enter can in some instances also toggle to full screen when a game starts windowed.

I will leave this here:

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/pes-2...er-responses-aggressively-arrogantly-to-fans/

In short, the visuals on the PC will be better thanks to the higher resolutions that PC gamers can use.

If that was the case, I would not mind.

The visuals look like 480p upscaled.

I am hoping it is a bug and the engine is simply rendering at a stupidly low resolution.

HOWEVER, when ou start piecing everything together, it looks like Konami took a giant **** on us all.

The other conspiracy is that they are trying to engineer their way out of the PC market by saying "Hey, nobody bought the game".

Yeah, that is one of the reasons why I purchased PES 15 and not FIFA 15. But still, how can Konami be so behind on graphics? lol.

I am a Arsenal fan, go look at Wojciech Szczęsny in the game and you will see it looks nothing like him. The guy has been Arsenal number 1 keeper for some time now...

Anyway, here is what you wanted: http://www.pes-patch.com/forum/forum-114.html

It does not fix everything, but does a great job of team names and logos for now which is a big thing for me. Hate seeing North London as my team name.

It's cos they didn't bother developing for the PC, the console version has far better graphics and realism, this is a stain on Kojima's Fox engine, it is one of the best around and this is the poor effort Konami put in, disgraceful.

Hmm seems a bit simple and easy this Legend mode,
I started in the Sky bet Champ with Birmingham, after 1 yr transferred to Norwich and got promoted after the 2nd season.

So im 2 seasons into the game, a goal poacher striker 77 ovr atm and i've just been called up for England??? (41 games only 16 goals)

I've never been out of the first team either despite there being Macheda (79) and another striker i forget the name of rated higher than me.

Odd

Not sure how close the demo build is to the retail version, but just like Fifa 15 I wouldn't spend £15 on this. I'm so bored with this generation of footy video games.

Dodgy collision detection, strange animations and clipping with a pretty scripted feel to the game. Not as scripted as Fifa perhaps but a bit more realistic balance with pace and player agility than Fifa.

Another six or seven years of annual garbage releases from EA and Konami for Fifa and PES with this generation by the look of things :o

But even when these incompetent fools have better hardware to make better engines I still wouldn't trust them to deliver the goods.
