Upgrade my PC - Best way to spend some moneys.

Hello All.

What would you suggest that I upgrade in my sig?

I'm thinking GPU but don't know whats out now. Except them very sexy reference 970s.

What you think? I need a cooler too. and possibly some fans. Want to start Overclocking this chip.

Budget? Shall we say £400? maybe more, maybe less.

Stuff that isnt in my sig. - 16GB Crucial Tracer. 600W ModXStream and 500GB F3 HDD

Fan wise not too sure on what's the best at the moment.

I would definitely grab a new GPU, 290 or a 970. I've been using a H100i in my Parvum for a while now and cannot fault it. As for fans, do you have a colur scheme? I'm using Alpenfohn Wingboost 2s in mine as case fans and have 2 on the H100i and they're flawless.

Well. Purple. My case is black and purple. Eventually I would like to braid and do it properly.

Max speed is a lottery. A minority might do 4.6 - 4.8 ghz. Average expectation I reckon 4.2 - 4.5 ghz again with a minority doing even less than this.

Would my current psu take a 970 and a moderate clock. Something like 4.5 GHZ. would a h100 or equal keep that cool enough?

Yes it would and a H100 or similar will keep it cool for that clock, I use a H100i on a 4.8GHz i7 4790K.
