Asus Strix 980 Covered By Warranty Removing Heatsink ?

Are GPU's now still covered by warranty if you remove the heatsink and replace the cooler and TIM ?

Yes asus cover this I asked myself (As long as you don't break any stickers/seals) most of their GPUS come with stickers or warranty void on a part that wont make it break when taking the heatsink off

Brilliant thanks bud, Will be replacing the stock TIM with some IC-Diamond, Based off of other people and IC's testing themselves it has dropped load temps by as much as 4-6'c depending on the scenario.

Yeah, I would assume so.

TBH I no longer ask or take any of this into consideration when removing heatsinks. As long as they can't/don't know there is nothing to worry about. Most of the warranty void stickers can be bypassed (MSI ones are super easy) and OcUK support are always there to help you.
