Boiler and central heating cover

Moved into my current house about 3 months back and am now looking to arrange some cover .

Boiler is a back boiler type and between the noises from that and the radiators I think its time to get it checked out and covered.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Yeah, get it out checked to make sure it's safe then save your money to rip the thing out! A new boiler/system will have much lower (gas) running costs. Back boilers are very robust, just very inefficient, so
save your money towards the day it needs to come out.

This all day long! Most companies wont cover back boilers as they become very expensive to repair.

Also there is a chance it will blow up and kill you and your dog.

Unless you know a plumber who is willing to lie those warranties are as much use as a Warranty Direct car policy.
