Anybody know if I could get one of these from anywhere in this country or anywhere reputable: 2x 14500 battery (900 mAh, Rechargeable) Dimensions: 14.2 x 50.5 (mm) ?

Ok thanks. Ill give it a go. Panasonic shaver just died and, low and behold they don't provide spare batteries unless you submit the shaver to a service centre :(

Hi buddy. Do you want the cells tagged or untagged?
Unfortunately, 14500-size LiIon cells aren't sold "singly" very commonly, unlike the much more frequently seen 18650 (Laptop-size cell).

That said, they are available, though not in 900mAh capacities that I've been able to find.
Here are some untagged ones from germany; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-pcs-SAN...US_Rechargeable_Batteries&hash=item3ceb5138fc

They're not quite the 900mAh you're looking for but I think they're the best cells "commercially" available at the moment.

How talented are you at soldering and electronics in general?
LiIon cells are tempermental things when mistreated and attempting to inexpertly solder them could have quite hazardous consequences.

Definitely avoid anything labelled "Trustfire", "Ultrafire" or "GTL" etc. If you're unsure, I'm happy to have a squiz at any cells you're looking at and let you know if they're worth buying or not.

fasttech? that's where most of the ebay stuff comes from.. at least you know if its a fake or authentic. They do have odd shipping rules when it comes to batteries.
