Only 23 years old, but my hangovers get so bad…..its amost worse the 2nd day!! I think I’m getting old!

Yes it wont be as bad if I don’t drink as much……but don’t suggest that please 

I always make sure I eat before I go out….and drink water before I go and when I get in…..

All I drink on nights out are double vodkas and lemonade and afew jager bombs….

But what do you guys eat / drink / do to have ‘less’ of a hangover?

Any suggestions?

Be younger.

It just gets worse as your tolerance goes up and you can drink more poison.

Coke has some electrolytes.
Or one of the electrolyte rehydration packs before bed, St Andrews salts the morning after.

Is this to celebrate your "friend" getting her share of that house? :p

Drink more water, and less sugary rubbish.

I always found drinking double vodkas with fruit juice (cranberry or pineapple is nice), helped alleviate any hangovers. Red bull is the worst thing to have as it stops you sleeping, so it's probably those Jagerbombs.

Also, down a pint of water when you get home before you go to bed!

Stop being a complete girl and willpower your body to expel toxins in the form of green slime from your eyes.

2 days wow? Do you drink till you are alcohol poisoned or just skinny jeans ?

try single vodkas ?? try every other one no vodka? Man up drink real drinks?

Can't remember the last time I had one, but the key is to drink more water in between drinks. What helps in the morning is lots of antioxidants and isotonic based drink, vitamins, and lots of water and some pain killers - bananas are good. Caffeine based drinks will dehydrate you further. Before bed drink a LOT of water, and keep drinking water every time you wake up.

Drink a glass of water in between each alcoholic drink and drink less are my only advice for future drinking escapades.

Stuffing your face can help, but can also tip you over the edge if you're feeling fragile.

I get 2-3 day hangovers, longest I've had is a week.

Tend to find quality drinks help, electrolyte supplements, water and food after drinking also help. The next day coffee and cereal followed by periodic eating to keep the hangover tolerable.

It's all about your genetic make up and lifestyle, not all hangovers are made equal. I know some people who don't even get them or think hangovers are a sore head and tiredness.

Don't mix either if you can help it, I love pints with whisky chasers but they destroy me the next day. Hugging porcelain if I'm not careful or more likely sat in a cafe slumped over sipping a coffee with the thousand yard stare trying to stay upright.

So, apart from drinking less, drink good quality vodka and sugar free mixers and stick to the same drink. It is the sugar and cheap vodka which is not helping.

The main one though is to skip the Jager Bombs. They are the devils drink.

Have a barocca before you start drinking and before you go to bed at the end of the night.

Seems to help me, but its probably just a placebo effect.

Drinking spirits only is probably a large part of your problem. Personally, beer does give me a hangover, but if I have vodka or jaeger bombs it's a hell of a lot worse.

My hangover have got worse of the last couple of years. When I was 18 I could bounce back...no longer.

23 is young. Try being 45 and drinking.

But being fit can make a big difference. I found recently after getting fitter that I don't feel as bad the next day.

I find the fitter I am the more I feel like hammered ****, probably because it's such a massive change from feeling decent.
