Does this mean player to player trading is on the cards now, or am I reading that wrong?

We should be able to eject cargo and allow other players to pick it up without it being flagged as stolen "Jettison (Abandoned)

Can confirm! Wasn't this quite a big deal for a lot of people? It seems to be not getting the attention it should...

I'm not sure, hence asking for the opinions of those on the beta.

The insurance is of interest, and I've no idea how hard it will be to earn the Sol pass. If it's a couple of hours of gameplay then probably not.

I was disappointed, even a bit angry but enjoy the game with friends too much to spit the dummy over it. It's a good move for them and I doubt many will take them up on it.

Yep, it was hard to defend them after single player offline was confirmed a few times and used as a feature to generate income.

Btw, if you want to play Elite offline and solo the original game is free to download at your leisure

Can't seem to get this to work, the youtube videos n the support section are not much help either, any pointers?


Since updating I'm having a few graphical glitches.

Cockpit flashing white for no reason.

Lots of lag/jumping around.

And one very odd instance of landing then finding myself floating out in space whilst looking through the bulletin board, ended up getting blown to pieces for loitering in the station.....
