About £6/month per megabit of download speed. Including landline cost is a bit 'unfair' in our case in the sense that we (as in my personal household) would pay for that anyway.
When I first signed up with Virgin, it took them 3 months to even get my service installed, they kept messing me around with "ERMAGERD YOU NEED A REPULL".
The re-pull never happened, I just managed to get a really good technician come out who spent an hour or two in the pit splicing my cable to another unused one.
They did give me a discount for a little while, but they were just the start of some of the problems I had.
They twice disconnected our line due to mess ups on their end - first due to a problem with their billing system then somehow managed to cancel our line when someone with the same surname but different town, account and phone number requested their line to be cancelled. Then when we had FTTC and a 2nd line put in on the same day the engineer doing the 2nd line managed to severe the original line and then basically did a runner - BT frontline support were totally useless and had no resolution path in their system and it had to be escalated to the head of openreach to be fixed anything like promptly.
Virgin Media and I've been paying the line rental upfront for two years at £120 a year, hoping that will roll over again in February but doubt very much that it will.
Then £23 monthly for a M tv pack and XL phone with a few add ons like free to mobile and any uk landlines at any time.
